Dear CT Lax Players and their Families,

Over the past eleven years my staff and I have worked hard to develop some of the state’s top female lacrosse players.  I would like to thank each one of you for the commitment, dedication and energy you have brought to the CT Lax family.  We have attained tremendous success together and I continue to look back on our achievements with pride.  Reflecting on the past decade has allowed me to see, with further clarity, the direction I would like our Club program to move in.  I, along with other top Fairfield County coaches are joining forces to build and coach an elite new program, Gold Coast Lacrosse.  Starting July 22nd CT Lax will merge with another competitive Connecticut based club team, NEWLAX.   At the helm of Gold Coast Lacrosse will be myself, Meredith Meyran (Wilton High School Head Coach) and Caitlin Jackson (GM of Philadelphia Force, United Women’s Lacrosse League).  I have known both Meredith and Caitlin for a long time and am truly excited to join forces with such incredibly talented, dedicated and connected individuals.  This merger positions us to not only build on the foundation I have worked so hard to create with each of you, it allows us the opportunity to achieve bigger and better things in your future.

Unlike CT Lax, Gold Coast Lacrosse will field and cultivate high school teams looking to continue their lacrosse careers at the High School & Collegiate level.  Gold Coast Lacrosse will be competitive on a new level.  I want to assure each one of you that I will continue to play the instrumental coaching and player development based role you are used to.  My excitement for the game and my enthusiasm for your success will be a core part of Gold Coast Lacrosse.

I have immensely enjoyed forging a relationship with each one of you and look forward to continuing to build on it in this new capacity.  I am excited for our future together in an entirely new and invigorated way.  I know this is a big change, but it is certainly for the better.  This merger will further enhance the success we have together and the exposure each of our players receive.

The Gold Coast Lacrosse 2016-2017 year will begin with Tryouts this July and August. We aim to build the most competitive rosters in the greater CT/NY area. The High School 2018 and 2019 classes will tryout July 30th and July 31st respectively at Wilton High School and the 2020 and Youth teams will tryout on August 21st at Chelsea Piers.

On behalf of Gold Coast Lacrosse, we look forward to working with you in 2016 and beyond.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions.
